LORENTZ facilities, Beijing, China, 29 June 2019
Last weekend, we invited our colleagues in China and their families to a LORENTZ Family Day at our facilities in Beijing. More than 270 persons followed the invitation and spent a full day at LORENTZ.
The day started with a welcome speech by Mr Lorentz who introduced the management team and explained the course of the day. Our colleagues in China prepared nice LORENTZ welcoming bags with a solar water pump print, flowers, toys and sweets.
After the introduction, Mr Lorentz proudly thanked all employees who have been working for LORENTZ +12 or even +20 years for their many years of cooperation and loyalty. They were honoured with special prizes.
Our guests were then devided into groups and guided through the factory. After the tour, refreshments like cold drinks and icecream awaited them on the third floor.
At lunch time, everyone met in the canteen for delicious food and cold drinks.
On the second and third floor, several games were prepared like badminton, table tennis, basketball, tug-of-war or billiard. Singers could prove their talent in a karaoke session. Especially the children hat a lot of fun by using water guns with water from the swimming pool.
Every hour, an insight into LORENTZ history and the newest developments was offered through presentations and videos.
The day was really fun and we thank all employees and their families who joined and celebrated with us!
