EL-Dakhlah, Egypt, 21 May 2017
Mr Tamer Shamma, chairman of Helioeast Egypt, welcomed the Minister of Irrigation & Water Resources of Somalia and his accompanying delegation, the Vice Minister of Irrigation & Water Resource, the Vice Minister of Military Production and the Vice governor of the New Valley to the inauguration.
The guests visited the installation of a LORENTZ PSk2-40 pump system and could personally witness how a solar water pump works. The pump provides about 1600 m3 per day and is used for the irrigation of different crops.
In the course of 2017, Helioeast will install 24 additional PSk2-40 pump systems in EL-Dakhlah including all necessary accessories and remote monitoring option.
Before the installation of the PSk2-40, a generator was used to provide water. Helioeast strongly emphasized the advantages of a solar water pump compared to a generator:
–Â Â Â The solar water pump system is the most environmental friendly solution because it does not exhale heat emission like carbon dioxide or other toxic gases which affect the agricultural soil.
–Â Â Â The solar water pump has a long life expectancy.
–Â Â Â Almost no maintenance is needed at very low costs. Payback is achieved after 3 years.
–Â Â Â The use of the LORENTZ Android application PumpScanner and pumpMANAGER allow full monitoring and control of the entire system.
The guests from the Somalian Ministry were deeply impressed by Helioeast’s presentation on solar water pumping, their professional installation of the LORENTZ PSk2-40 pump system and especially by the remote monitoring options.
