Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, 4 April 2017
On Tuesday, April 4th, LORENTZ Distribution Partner Economato Mexicana SA de CV were invited to hold a conference for the students of La Salle University in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora as part of the II Annual Engineering Week at their school.
Economato Mexicana explained to the students the advantages of water pumping with solar energy. After that, Economato gave an intensive course on COMPASS so that the students can use this tool from now on for their school assignments.
The theoretical part was followed by a practical one where the students showed what they have learned by installing a PS2-150 C-SJ5-8 for the school fountains. They also started a project with the objective to use an autonomous central pivot for local irrigation. In two months from now, Economato will return to the University to see the results of both projects.
Economato Mexicana was delighted by the warm welcome given by the university, the enthusiasm and positive attitude of the students towards the presented topics and most importantly, by the awareness of the next generation that renewable energies are the future of our planet.
